exposed and free

exposed and free

may i be free; my soul, my being,

to dance as fire; such gold a feeling,

which takes the coals, and rises smoke,

above the ash will float to choke,

and in the sifted winter’s air,

the weathered sick, exposed, and bare,

is given chance to heal, and bleed,

each toxic, broken memory; freed.
